| Kina Sees Snow for the First Time - 9/23 | ||
| It snowed for the first time this year (barely). Since our puppy (a snow dog) has never seen snow, she was pretty excited. She was running around in the back yard catching it in her mouth, wondering what this delicious white discharge falling from the sky was. Here are some photos of her fascination. | ||
| Denver Memorial Stair Climb - 9/11 | ||
| Every year Fire Departments come from all over the country to participate in the Memorial stair climb up the Quest Corporate building. Counting the basement the tower is 55 floors. We put on all our gear and walk up the stairwell two times as if it were one of the World Trade Center Towers with 110 floors. We run the event like the 9-11 incident and there are only 343 participants invited (one for every firefighter that fell). We each wear one of the firefighters name and photo around our necks during the climb. Here are the photos of the event....and this is what 343 firefighters look like. Never Foregt. | ||

| Well it was finally time to get rid of the old Toyota 4Runner and get a vehicle that will deal with the winter driving conditions here in Colorado. We bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee. This will be Laura's car (I don't have to drive far). | ||
